Joining us is nautical archaeologist and PhD student Stephen DeCasien to talk about the intricacies and evolution of the navy during the period, the practicalities and philosophy of building the gargantuan Tessarakonteres, and why it ultimately fell out of favor following the Battle of Actium in 31 B.C.
