    Joining me is Martin Parnell, he is an international keynote speaker, accomplished marathoner, he has set 5 Guinness world records, humanitarian, and author of three books, Marathon Quest and Running to the Edge and The Marathon Trilogy, The Secret Marathon.  Martin talked about when he began running in his 40's, his humanitarian work, and his books. He also talked about his film The Secret Marathon which Martin ran in 2016 the Afghanistan marathon in a quest to fight for women's rights and gender equality.  On their website https://thesecretmarathon.com/ For more background information about the film says- "When the first Afghan woman stood up for her freedom and ran in the Marathon of Afghanistan, she started a movement for equality that spread around the world. Martin vowed to run in the Marathon of Afghanistan the following year to support Zainab, and partnered with filmmaker and first-time marathoner, Kate McKenzie, to tell the story.
