    #221 – Want to Change Your Life? Gratitude is the Answer

    There is a reason that in Philippians 4:6, Paul tells us to present our requests to God, with thanksgiving. It is not because God is an ego-maniac who needs to be acknowledged for everything He does (although He really should be acknowledged for everything He does, because without Him, we wouldn't be breathing). God knows that gratitude changes everything. It changes us, and it changes the world around us. He does everything for our best interest, and telling us to practice gratitude is no different.     Justin Gravitt is back on the show, and we are thrilled to talk to him about how to change culture (specifically church culture) the way Jesus did. There are a lot of motivations that go into discipleship programs in a church, but only a few of them are biblical. Justin has served with The Navigators since 2000, and is the founder and executive Director of the Dayton Disciple Makers Network, host to the popular Practitioner’s Podcast, and author of The Foundation of a Disciplemaking Culture . He is an avid Reds fan, loves the beach, and dad-joking his kids. He lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife, Kristen and their four children.
