Stories of inspiration
Every week I count on listening to John's perspectives on living. I feel more ready to take action where I'm needed to act or listen to what needs to be heard. He's like the spirit, as we say at my home church, able to "push us into places we may not necessarily go ourselves."
Let There Be Peace
I can’t say that I have been a constant advocate of peace but deep in my heart I pray for it. Caring for our fellow man through helping and sharing, both acts of love, are ways toward peace on earth. Getting to know our neighbor, both near and far, is a step toward peace on earth. For when we know each other we find the many similarities that God has built within us even if our interests, lifestyles and cultures are different. I think Minister Dorhauer is on to something here and I like it. Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.
