What if slowing down isn’t falling behind, but finally catching up with yourself? In this soul-soothing episode, we’re joined by speaker and coach Chris Coladonato, who invites us to challenge one of the deepest beliefs so many of us carry: that rest equals laziness. Together, we explore how stillness can be a powerful, practical, and even radical act in a culture that glorifies constant doing. From forest bathing and journaling to setting boundaries and challenging limiting beliefs, this conversation is full of wisdom, tools, and gentle truth-telling. We talk about: Why busyness feels safe—and what it might be hiding How to reclaim rest without guilt Creating space and time for stillness in everyday life The difference between true rest and numbing out How to challenge the inner voice that calls you lazy Whether you’re deep in hustle mode or already feeling the pull to slow down, this episode is your reminder that you don’t have to earn your rest—you simply have to allow it. Take a breath, take a beat, and join us in reclaiming your right to just be. Meet Chris Coladonato - speaker, coach, and founder of Connection Catalyst. 3. Why men need to talk and let themselves feel with Luke Newman | Ep 167

    MAY 28

Why men need to talk and let themselves feel with Luke Newman | Ep 167

In this powerful and deeply moving episode, we sit down with mental health advocate and founder of For Men to Talk, Luke Newman, to explore what it really means for men to open up and embrace their emotions. Luke shares his personal journey through grief, anxiety, and depression—and how those experiences inspired him to create supportive spaces where men can simply show up, be seen, and connect. From coffee shop conversations to fishing meetups and virtual circles, For Men to Talk is redefining what emotional strength looks like. Together, we dive into the societal pressure for men to stay silent, the impact of outdated beliefs about masculinity, and the quiet epidemic of loneliness and isolation. Luke reminds us that talking isn’t weakness—it’s survival. And sometimes, healing starts not with answers, but with being heard. We also explore the power of community, the importance of emotional literacy for boys, and how finding purpose through service—like Luke’s work in Kenya—can breathe life back into the soul. If you’re a man, love a man, know a man, or simply want to understand how we can all support each other better, this episode is a must-listen. Because men need to talk and be heard! And it’s time we made space for both. Luke Newman is the founder and director of ‘For Men To Talk’, a men's peer support company founded in December 2019. They offer physical, virtual, walking and fishing meetings. The idea to start “For Men To Talk” stemmed from Luke's own experiences grappling with anxiety, depression, and grief, feelings that became all too familiar to him after he tragically lost his mother and sister to cancer. Despite having sought out counselling and therapy to cope with his emotional struggles, he couldn’t help but notice a glaring absence of support groups specifically tailored to men who needed a platform to voice their emotions and experiences. With the hope of providing a space for men to connect and converse about their feelings, he took the initiative to create a Facebook page for “For Men To Talk” on Christmas Eve in 2019. Not long after, on February 13, 2020, the first group meeting convened at Jones’ Café in Biggleswade, with nineteen individuals in attendance. In this welcoming and supportive environment, they discussed a wide range of topics, from casual interests like football, television, and movies to more profound conversations about our emotions and personal experiences.  If you want to know more about Luke and his work, check him out online: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ForMenToTalk/ X: https://x.com/ForMenToTalk Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/formentotalk/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/formentotalk Tik-Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@formentotalk Website: https://formentotalk.co.uk/ * * *Check out our Patreon for exclusive bonus content and gold nuggets from this episode: www.patreon.com/c/IntoYourLifeWatch the podcast on YouTube here: https://bit.ly/IYLPodcastYouTubeAnd don't forget to subscribe to our fortnightly newsletter to receive insights on how to find more life in your life from our amazing guests: subscribepage.io/IYLPodNewsletter* * *

  7. Grounded living: everyday practices for a more present life with Stefanie Augustine | Ep 163

Grounded living: everyday practices for a more present life with Stefanie Augustine | Ep 163

In this episode, we sit down with Stefanie Augustine—corporate sustainability consultant and founder of Satyam Yoga—for a soul-stirring conversation that blends modern-day mindfulness with ancient yoga philosophy. Stefanie shares how yoga has become a powerful tool for cultivating presence, resilience and inner peace in a fast-paced, overstimulated world. We explore what it truly means to live grounded—from reconnecting with your breath and body, to embracing daily rituals that support mental clarity and emotional balance. But this episode goes beyond the mat. With nearly 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability—including work with Volkswagen, Audi, and global consultancy firms—Stefanie brings a unique perspective on how personal well-being and planetary well-being are deeply intertwined. We unpack what sustainability really means (beyond just recycling), how businesses can become forces for good, and how individuals can make small yet impactful changes in their own lives. Stefanie also shares her personal journey of relocating from Germany to Australia, reflecting on the cultural shift she experienced—not just in lifestyle, but in the different approaches to yoga practice. While yoga in Germany often leans towards a more spiritual and traditional focus, in Australia she noticed a stronger emphasis on yoga as a form of fitness, inspiring her even more to advocate for the deeper, holistic roots of the practice. If you’re craving more calm, clarity, or connection—or are curious about living more consciously both inside and out—this conversation is filled with insight, warmth, and practical wisdom. Stefanie Augustine, sustainability consultant, lecturer and yoga teacher. Stefanie’s journey brings together two lifelong passions: creating a more sustainable world and living with deeper inner awareness. After more than a decade working in corporate sustainability with major companies like Volkswagen and Audi, Stefanie discovered that real, lasting change begins within. Her search for a more meaningful life led her to traditional Indian yoga, where under the guidance of her teacher Som, she found a path rooted in authenticity, presence, and holistic living. Today, Stefanie lives in Australia, where she combines her work as a freelance sustainability consultant with her passion for sharing yoga through Satyam Yoga. She offers online classes, leads retreats in India, and helps people reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Whether guiding businesses or individuals, her vision remains the same: to inspire grounded, conscious living for a more fulfilled and sustainable life. The unexpected journey of humanness, connection and coffee with Roman Egenberger | Ep 162

In this beautifully unplanned and soulfully enriching episode, we sit down with Roman Egenberger—Spaceologist and builder of the #portfoliohuman movement—for a wide-ranging conversation about life, identity, and what it really means to connect. Described by others as a man living many lives, Roman’s path has taken him from treasury banking to coffee brewing, from managing an oat milk cooperative to advocating for local produce, investing in social cohesion, and baking truly legendary bread (barefoot, of course).  A deep thinker, early adopter and joyful rebel, Roman embodies a life lived curiously and with intention. In our conversation, we explore how humanness can guide the way we do business, build relationships, and simply move through the world. Roman shares his journey from the tight-knit landscape of Liechtenstein to the fast-paced rhythms of global finance—and back again to a more grounded, people-centred life. We talk about redefining what it means to “sell” in a way that is rooted in care rather than persuasion, the value of presence in a hyper-busy world, and how Roman now uses coffee not just as a beverage, but as a bridge—creating spaces where strangers become community. We talk about the real purpose of coffee, why connection is the true currency of our time, and how creating open space—both literally and metaphorically—can lead to unexpected magic. This episode is a heartfelt reminder that life’s most meaningful chapters often unfold when we let go of the plan and lead with curiosity.
