The Line

This is one of the most infuriating podcasts I’ve listened to (and I’ve listened to alot). Not only has the truth been twisted, but Gallagher’s wife speaking FOR HIM?!? And in the last episode explaining how the ISIS kid died over what he said? Then she wanted to call other Seals all sorts of names? Has she ever gone to war? I’m not sure she can run a mile let alone pass bootcamp to make it to the front lines. My husband is a Marine and if this situation happened to him he can speak to what happened on his own, he doesnt need a woman who has never gone to war or been in his shoes to defend him. I’d be so embarrassed if my spouse did this to me and emasculated me the way she did.

Interested in money over the life of a 13/14-year-old kid who was in poverty and working with ISIS as a “good job” is Eddie’s wife to a “T”- In the USA, would we execute a 13/14 year-old kid who does something so misguided? No, we look at the context. Just like we are being asked to look at context for Eddie… We have to be better than this, in every instance. —- The podcast was extremely well done. Traumatic brain injury must be studied, tracked and minimized by the military as much as possible. New technologies to help protect service members should be invested in. —-Eddie needed more time in prison to reflect on stabbing a 13/14-year-old kid, lying about it, photographing it and then repeatedly bragging about it afterward. I wish he could hear himself as the rest of the world does.— Lastly, anyone who would glorify and reward Eddie or his wife via social media with likes and repost needs to have their head examined. Any brand/product signing up to use Eddie’s “platform” is not a brand worth any of your hard-earned money. Please do better.

The doc. On Apple+ is much better and fairly objective but you can still tell they’re trying to manipulate the story, not as badly as this guy and all his anti Trump rhetoric. This guy was found INNOCENT because there was NO evidence despite the thousands of hours of helmet cam footage, their stories all fell apart, there where several members that didn’t like Eddie but still told the truth. There was NOTHING in their thousands of texts about killings. Also, this guy is highly decorated with a GREAT reputations on over 80 missions on 8 deployments and NEVER accused of anything then a hands full of millennials go on their first tour and realize it’s WAR and can’t handle it. Why’d they lie? Why do people lie, for all kinds of reasons. They didn’t think it would turn into a media spectacle. No evidence, all their stories fall apart. Doc. Tries to blame this guy or that with conspiracy theories. They only interview lying witnesses and anti Eddie journalists (who lie for a living) its WAR! It’s not pretty, it’s not heroic! They thought they’d be living a movie and that didn’t happen and they blamed Eddie. The real kicker is at the end when they try to make you feel BAD for the ISIS FIGHTER!! It’s a joke, exactly how liberal journalists manipulate the civilian population. Iraqis would’ve tour heres and killed him, American forces had NO jurisdiction. This was a waste of time. This podcast does not do a good job of creating a picture of Eddie and his teammates and this story. I’m only two episodes in watching the show on Apple TV and I’m blown away at what the podcast leaves out. I’m a huge podcast fan but my recommendation is that all listeners to watch the show instead.
