226: Economics of Adult Entertainment with Dan Leal

This episode contains adult themed content, but we tried to keep it as PG-13 as possible! Johnny interviews "Porno Dan" Leal, who has been a porn producer and actor for over 20 years where he's produced over 5,000 scenes. Dan tells us about the economics of getting into the adult entertainment industry. Learn about how little performers make in scenes and how much they make branding on their own in today's world of OnlyFans. Johnny and Derek discuss takeaways from the interview at the end and discuss a bit about their experiences dealing with people in the industry.
Porno Dan is an American pornographic movie director and actor. He has been nominated for over 150 AVN Award, XBIZ Award and XRCO Award nominations and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2015

variety of topics

JohnnyFD journey out of ukraine popped up in YT. After watching a few videos and realized he’s also a fellow Californian who is a digital nomad, I came across this podcast and was hooked right away with the numerous topics presented on iLab. I enjoyed listening to them because the 3 guys, Sam, Johnny, and Derek all found their own ways to success, and they are respectful of one another about it. tThey don’t ever get pushy on their podcast and they ask great questions to their guests. I especially enjoyed the quarterly
updates and recent episode with trevor wright on cc points hacking. Please keep the content flowing!

Always entertaining! Always informative!

Johnny and Sam bring the best interviews with CEOs, FINCON entrepreneurs, and big bosses! My favorite part of the episodes though are the intros and outros where the two of them share their personal investment strategies, where in the world they are, and what they’ve been up to. Always nice to see another ILAB episode in my iTunes!

Absolutely Inspiring!

I’m 34, flat broke, working a dead end factory job and I’m working hard to bootstrap and build my business from the ground up with nothing. I was looking for a podcast to listen to at work that would help me manage my time and money, and allow me to use my money to work for me. I listened to the latest episodes, and immediately went to the beginning and started listening from episode 1! These guys shoot straight, give real world info that is easily digestible, and the conversation style is very easy to listen to and learn from. Thank you so much for putting this out. I may be a few years late to the game, but I’m catching up!
