They discuss THE critical ingredient to achieve financial freedom, “how to think”. Chris Hanson & Chris Lam each reached freedom by investing & trading in the stock market. This is NOT Dave Ramsey mutual funds; it’s not Kiyosaki real estate; people say it’s akin to living the Tim Ferriss lifestyle. They’re not Ivy League grads; they’re self-taught, studying nights & weekends while working in sales for the largest tech firm. Today, they can trade/invest from anywhere they happen to be, even from the beach.
They’ll share what they discovered about “how to think” as well as “how to do”. Most people focus on the mechanics, the tasks, the “how to do”. The reality is that “how to do” is maybe 5% of what’s required; the other 95% is “how to think”. Most people gloss over the 95%, then get frustrated when they can’t figure out why they’re not achieving freedom.

First step on an amazing journey
In April, 2020 peak of Pandemic I decided I wanted to get better at investing and making the money I had saved do more for me. I stumbled upon IFB by entering “Investing”. Something about the name (pictured myself literally investing from beach), and the great throwback illustration and color caught my eye and I listened. Almost 2 years later, after deciding to take the courses that Chris and Chris teach, I truly believe that my future is brighter than ever. It all started with this podcast, and I am so grateful for the wisdom and knowledge they share.
Great Podcast
Great podcast on investing! They get into how to think about investing and trading more than teaching how to analyze stocks for trading. The interview series in 2019 are extremely helpful to get you motivated!!
Financial Literacy
Huge thanks to Chris and Chris for taking the time and effort to put this podcast out there. The "how to think" mindset they offer is not available from our education system nor from our well meaning parents.
Chris and Chris have a knack for explaining "life" from an economic perspective that I finally understand. Unemployment, inflation, wealth gap, rising/falling stock prices, debt, mortgages, 401K's, saving vs investing - all concepts that seem so complicated until they put them in simple terms.
Love the podcast. Love the sense of humor. Love the commitment to hard work and discipline. Thanks for the education.
