Is Your Job Default or Deliberate? Find Work You Love Doing.

ARCHITECTING Podcast - Career + Lifestyle Mentoring for Architects looking to move beyond overwhelm and make a difference thr

Stop being the pick me person. You know, the one who tries way to hard but still doesn't get the payoff. In this episode, you'll get the downlow on how to focus on what you want to be known for.

  1. There are no accidents. Your fear of success is the only thing blocking you from opportunities.
  2. Focusing on what you want to be known for is way different than ambition. It's your differentiator, your personal brand, how you are inspired to make a difference.
  3. Once you understand your brand, you can easily determine whether to say yes to an opportunity (even if it feels terrifyingly risky) or whether it's not the best use of your valuable time, talent and energy.
  4. When you communicate your brand, others start to bring you opportunities for things you actually want to do.
  5. Be clear about what you want, but open to the fact that it can look different that the way you thought it would. You will evolve as a person and your life circumstances will change, but your why will keep you consistently moving toward a life and job you love.
  6. Nothing is ever wasted. Every aligned action is helping to build the foundation of the success you want.
