Wow, I’m glad I stumbled upon this podcast! The cases are substantial and compelling. Laura Palmer is a skilled and thorough researcher & investigative journalist. She’s both smart and down-to-earth, and an engaging storyteller/host.

How could season 7 even be considered an investigation? How are you not even gonna bring up cell phone evidence, emails, bank statements, phone calls, etc.? It would be great if season 7 actually focused on Ian instead of all this filler seemingly placed there due to the reporter’s actual lack of research and evidence. Season 7 is a joke. I could not believe how far it veered away from any concrete facts.

I have become a dedicated listener since discovering Island Crime. I am waiting for the day you announce a “solve” to one of the cases. I always believe the police do all they can, but after listening to FBI Profile I am thoroughly frustrated. Sounds like they dropped the ball. I still hold out hope that something breaks that will bring Michael’s family some closure
