It's our Inability to Talk About Where we've been that Keeps us from Talking about What's Happening in Front of Us // CJ Quartlbaum
CJ Quartlbaum is a self-titled "pastor adjacent" speaker, writer and Brooklyn resident. CJ was a spoken word artist in churches around the country but truly realized Jesus as his savior at 22. His newest endeavor is Live & Labor, where he makes theology and life with God simple.
We talked about CJ's life before and after becoming a Christian, telling stories about racial justice that haven't been told, his experience in the NY financial business as a black man, inner-city missions, and why a multi-ethnic church must be multi-cultural, not only having different looking people.
