I just finished listening to the Matt Turner interview, and it was great. The conversation started by discussing the new Jazz & Contemporary program at Lawrence U., And while never straying far from examination of pedagogical improvisation approaches, it was a very diverse look at how so the demands of performers of all fields must deal with the many revolutions--business, technological, and cultural-- the music world has undergone in just a few decades. I am not a musician myself, but I have loved listening to Bailey and her guests deep dive into this world, in a way that still feels applicable in my own life!
