This is a perspective we don’t get a lot. It’s fun and conversational and yes a little explicit. I love learning about other cultures, so this was a really interesting listen for me.
Face palm 101
I listened to approximately 15’ of the mythology episode. I was hoping to learn something about the traditional history of the culture but couldn’t stomach anymore after one of the hosts commented that it would be pretty cool if zeus and jesus could have been swapped out. This has to be the three most unintelligible individuals I’ve ever heard of. Furthermore, captives assimilating to the cult of their oppressors never ceases to be perplexing- but not in a good way. If you are actually interested in learning something, I would highly suggest sticking to the Wikipedia page and calling it good.
