Call The Bingewife

I love to binge and love that the show is released a season at a time so I don’t have to wait for the next episode to help me decide what show is going to be next on my list! Roger and Ruth keep it light, fun and informative all at the same time. There are some really good shows I might not have tried and would have missed out on if it weren’t for Call the Bingewife. Keep them coming!

As a cranky middle-aged person dragged into the 21st century, I am irritated trying to catch up on streaming services where all the good tv has apparently gone, trying to figure out from a bewildering array of unfamiliar content what is worth sampling and binging. Thank goodness then for Ruth and Roger, who enjoy and analyze all these things so I don't necessarily have to! With a clear structure of background information, 3 positive impressions and 1 mild critique, they present a thoughtful but un-wonky,casual,and friendly take on the latest productions. After listening to my first few shows, I already feel my viewing time in this life strategically conserved. I appreciate comparing notes on the one show I've also already seen, I'm committed to quickly skipping over another for its world-building and visuals, and I'm completeky skipping one that isn't my cup of tea but that I am glad exists for the sake of art. I'm sure many new friends will welcome your trustworthy voices into their living rooms. Cheers!
