It was February 1997 when Manchester City turned to Joe Royle to try and stop their slide down the leagues. Unable to keep the Blues in Division One, Royle went on to rebuild the club - earning back-to-back promotions in dramatic style in 1999 and 2000, getting City back to the Premier League as soon as he possible could have done. Without his influence as a manager in the late 1990s, who knows where the club would be today. The Blue Moon Podcast's David Mooney spoke to the ex-boss to discover more about his time in the dugout.
