I love Duncan for his inquiring mind. His questions and the thoughts behind them are so good. This is what a deeply curious human sounds like to me. Bonus, he’s hilarious.

Alternative comedian with a unique personal perspective. Duncan did some great work in the past and was one of my favorite Rogan guests, however he unfortunately represents the modern problem of maintaining the air of spiritual consciousness and open mindedness while remaining willfully ignorant of real social and political problems. So-called gurus have failed to meet this new moment with clear principles and directives for operating in *this* plane of existence, and became grifters for alternative medicine and self deception. So-called comedians have failed at using humor to help people understand each other and challenge the status quo, becoming mouthpieces for the most closed-minded and aggressive ideologues while pretending at neutrality. Duncan occupies the Venn diagram intersection of the two, and his pretentiousness and naiiveté that I once found comforting has become nauseating as the issues with his pedigree of podcaster are becoming increasing hard to ignore.
