Joel Osteen Podcast

Let me straight to the point , I dont fit in , I dont say a lot of nice things and to be blunt I am a work in progress . In my darkest days ( drugs , lots of booze and losing jobs) I found Lakewood church . Yes I used to sit there and watch Joel on the TV and drink a six pack of beer . Now I look foward to Sunday to see whats next, am I ready for a regular church not quite yet but Joel reminded me of one thing is those darkest of days . That God still loved me . Could his message have more biblical quotes ( maybe ) but when your really down some time being reminded of Gods love with a practical examples , may do more for some than quoting the Bible

I have not always been a follower of Lakewood. However, that has changed I love listening to Joel during my commute and as of today I have starting listening to the podcast in my office… Thank you! Joel, I truly am encouraging the messages and I am seeing myself the way that the Lord sees me; all by listening to you. Blessings. Kathy Kelley

What’s happening within the app when the app shuts down while attempting to listen to daily messages?

I’m Cathlic but I’m more of a relaxed one as I don’t believe everything that is written in the Bible anymore and everything that has gone on in the past with the Catholic Church ⛪️ and other things. Anyway I came across Joel on YouTube and listened and watched a couple of his 27 minute videos and I kind of liked some of the things he said and he made me laugh however it always concerns me how wealthy he and his wife are from the money 💰 he makes from preaching and other religions as well However it seems like so many religions make money off of us, including the catholic religion. I’m struggling with my faith for personal reasons so I’m trying to figure things out. Anyway I don’t donate money and never will as I would rather donate when I have it which isn’t allot to help people and animals that actually need it and not the above mentioned so they can live in the lap of luxury when so many are struggling. So that’s why I gave only 3 stars because nobody who supposed to preach and help others shouldn’t make money off of others unless it directly impacts the church itself or goes towards people who need it.
