In this second part of our series, Johanna, along with Mark and Gary P4P, examines the diverse areas of “DIVINATION” that pertain to our study of “The Divine.”

Divination is seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means. It has been a part of human culture and spirituality for millennia, with various forms of divination existing across different cultures and historical periods.

The practice is often associated with spirituality, mysticism, and the occult. Throughout history, divination has been intertwined with religious and spiritual practices.

Many ancient civilizations incorporated divination into their religious ceremonies and decision-making processes, including the Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, and Chinese.

Leaders often sought divine guidance through divination before making important decisions, such as going to war or determining the best time for planting and harvesting crops.
