How do you up the 3rd anniversary special? With Mark Waid and Absolute Power! Great episode! I’ve spent the last year listening to Dollar Bin Bandits after being introduced to them by Wizards Podcast to Comics. I absolutely love the insight that they gain from the amazing professionals in the comic book industry. From all-time greats to small creator-owned publishing, this show pulls back the curtain on so many creators. It gives the listener a thorough understanding of their process while exposing a light on their contributions to this medium. I have picked up so many new books as a result of my discovery of talent on this podcast!

From the beginning Oren, Joe and Mike have been booking fantastic guests on their show and diving into the history of comic books, especially for fans of the 80’s and 90’s boom period. I’ve learned so much about the behind the scenes of the comic books that I was reading as a kid and always come out of listening to each episode with a greater appreciation for the journey of the creators who have entertained me for decades. Plus they are genuinely nice guys. These last 3 years have been a joy to listen to and here’s to many more!

Cannot overstate how great this show is! If you are a longtime fan of comics or someone just discovering how awesome this hobby is, do yourself a genuine favor & follow these gents! They not only interview some of the legends of past & present, but they ask GREAT questions & establish the sort of chemistry that makes it like listening to your best buds at a con!
