Great conversations and exposure to new(to me) artists

Judy Carmichael is a great host. I love her music and and I‘ve “met” so many new musical artists through this podcast.

Hilary Kole interview

I have been a fan of Judy Carmichael and Jazz Inspired for awhile now but this is the first time I have been compelled to leave a review. Judy's personality and passion shine through and cause the listener to be engaged and invested in the conversation. I use the term "conversation" because that is how she comes across and it is a most appealing quality. Her conversation with Hilary Kole is a textbook example. I am a fan of both of these remarkably talented and personable ladies and feel privileged to have sat in and listened to their conversation. Judy has the ability to engage everyone she has on her show. The Willie Nelson show is further proof of what I'm talking about.

Gateway drug to jazz

I have listened to every episode of this show listed on Apple Podcasts - it is hands down my favorite. Judy interviews the best variety of musicians, arrangers, vocalists, composers, and even jazz enthusiasts who work as creatives in other industries. You can find the most fantastic music that you might not have discovered on your own, and hear stories that will blow your mind - some personal, some political, some about historic events that impacted the whole world. Her show simultaneously draws in people who haven’t yet discovered their love of jazz; validates the hardest working, most prolific, groundbreaking musicians; and includes everyone else in between.
