The Kailash parikrama is a revered pilgrimage route that encircles Mount Kailash, considered one of the holiest sites in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Unlike the more accessible outer Kora, the inner demands climbing to experience its treacherous terrain. The Kailash inner Kora spans approximately 32 KM and is typically completed within three days. Similarly the outer Kora is about 52 KM and also takes 3 days to complete. The route passes through regions of extreme altitude, often above 5500m.
