I wish I found this sooner
I really wish I had. I have been track riding for a couple of years, going to riding school too, learned some lessons the hard way too. I have recently moved to the US and was able to join YCRS. This series goes back to the foundations of much of what is taught there, but better.
Better in the sense that Ken shows you everything, nothing is left out. Because, as he puts it: the fundamentals are the same for all riders, only the degree of application changes.
Having practiced many of these things probably helps, as the series now connects all the pieces.
As good as it gets…
If you have always wanted access to a world class riding coach and instructor who has worked with some of the best riders in the world - you just struck gold. These should be mandatory listening for anyone swinging a leg over a motorcycle. Especially considering it is a sport where lives and limbs are at risk with every ride, not to mention bank accounts. Even with my 40 years of motorcycle experience I learn something new every podcast. Usually several things. Ken cuts right through the distractions and noise as only an experienced expert can. Listen to a few and decide for yourself. How these can be offered for free is beyond my comprehension.
Excellent Content, AWFUL audio quality
I’m up to episode 93 and so far the coaching is excellent - absolute top notch content - but the audio quality is so terrible it’s nearly unlistenable. Seriously, is Ken using audio equipment from the 1980s or what? PLEASE upgrade your audio equipment so I can continue listening.
