The mid-season review... with Simon Crafar!

Ahead of the five-weekend summer break, and after a simply sensational Sunday in Assen, the one and only Simon Crafar joined us to review the 2022 season so far. All the major talking points were covered in depth by Simon as we ran through every factory’s fortunes this year – as ever, our resident Kiwi’s thoughts are well worth a listen to. We hope you enjoy our longest episode of the season yet and we’ll catch you in August!

Francesco Guidotti: back in the KTM driving seat

Francesco Guidotti: back in the KTM driving seat

We had the pleasure of catching up with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team Manager Francesco Guidotti ahead of the Motul TT Assen to chat about his new – that’s now not so new – role, Brad Binder’s Sunday heroics, Miguel Oliveira leaving, Jack Miller’s two-year deal with the Austrian factory, where KTM are struggling in 2022, the difference between leading a factory team vs Independent Team and more. Apologies about Francesco’s sound issues, we’re not sure what happened with the connection but we hope you can enjoy it anyway!

Michael Laverty: setting up a team in 3(00) easy steps

Michael Laverty: setting up a team in 3(00) easy steps

A huge thanks to Michael for taking some time to chat with us because he is, quite probably, the busiest person in the MotoGP™ paddock right now. Setting up the VisionTrack Racing Team in Moto3™, JuniorGP™ and the British Talent Cup has been a whirlwind and Michael delves into just what it takes to piece such a huge project together in such a small amount of time – all while being a regular pundit on BT Sport too! Miller’s switch to KTM and the dramatic Catalan GP were two hot topics and as always, it’s fascinating listening to Michael, so we hope you enjoy it! See you after the German GP.

Great podcast!

The access to moto insiders is remarkable and I have enjoyed the interviews so much.

Sometimes there is host laughing or talking at the same time as the guest, which is natural and conversational in person, but can make it harder to discern or hear the guest when listening.

I really appreciate the show - thanks!

Twitch lag

The show is slightly difficult to listen to this year. There is a noticeable amount of lag in conversation allowing talking over each other. It may not be possible but last year’s format is more favorable. Still love the information though.
