Kickoff with Boomer and Valenti

I love this show and am happy to hear Mike talks more about football and other teams than the Lions. I start my Sunday with this show during the entire football season. My only issue is that Boomer sounds like he is standing on the other side of the room, speaking.

You two would kill each other if you did a daily 4 hour show but such a great pairing for a weekly show. Thanks for the entertainment Mike. Just need a Big G Giants segment.

After a rough first year, last year the show hit its stride. Mike and Boomer finally developed chemistry and the show let Mike show off his personality. Was about to be a power house. And now there’s a segment with Phil Simms. Brings the show to a screeching halt. Feels completely out of place and destroys the momentum of the show. Frickin’ Audacy man…

As a Detroit guy I’ve listened to Mike since I was a kid. I’ve respected his knowledge of sports forever. Obviously when he does afternoon drive in rushhour he’s gotta play to the crowd a little bit. It’s awesome to here him kinda loosin’ the tie a little bit and just talk shop with a legend of the game like Boomer. They talk like 2 dudes at the bar, and that’s all anyone could ask for. Thanks for a great season gentleman, Go Lions.
