    Dr. Corinne Catarozoli highlights the Pediatric Mental Health Integration Program (PMHIP) at Weill Cornell Medicine. PMHIP integrates behavioral and mental health care into medical settings to improve the health and well-being of our patients and families. The program helps to promote early identification of behavioral health concerns, increase access to mental health services, and provide evidence-based prevention and intervention services within our medical clinics.     Adolescent Mental Health: Risk and Resilience During Teenage Development

    This special episode comes from On the Mind, the official podcast from the Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Psychiatry.     Fetal Care Center

    Drs. Jessica Scholl and Ericalyn Kasdorf give an overview of the services offered at the Fetal Care Center. They discuss the multidisciplinary coordinated care approach to high-risk complex pregnancies. The center also features an onsite level 4 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), offering services for newborns in need of specialized care and staffed by highly trained neonatologists, surgeons, nurses, and nurse practitioners. They highlight the support available for families and how providers can refer to multiple services across the healthcare system.     Michelle Mikhno, M.D. discusses developmental milestones for motor skills in children.     Christine Salvatore M.D. discusses what parents should know about the new universal screening for congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV). She discusses what parents should know about CMV in newborns. While there is no CMV vaccine currently available to prevent congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV), she discusses the universal screening every baby for cCMV that's taking place in the country, including in New York State. She gives an overview of the twelve subspecialty divisions within the department that include dozens of programs, services, clinics and outpatient care sites across NYC.     Dr. Amanda Lin discusses what parents should know about keeping their child's heart healthy. She gives guidance around nutrition and exercise that the whole family can use to prevent cardiovascular diseases. She reviews the importance of overall health, including ways of managing obesity, addressing family history of heart conditions, and tips for moderation.
