Is there any way that the constant transfer portal turnover at places like Colorado can work?
-With RB Dylan Edwards entering the portal, that’s now 20 players who put their name in the portal from the Buffaloes in April alone
-We know the massive roster overhaul that Deion Sanders had last year, which resulted in a 3-0 start but a 4-8 record overall on the season…and overhaul on the staff, too
-Is there a path to THAT much turnover working or is that bound for failure?

Reggie Bush officially got his Heisman Trophy back yesterday…19 years after he actually earned it
-Bush was on the of the most electrifying players in college football history and earned the 2005 Heisman Trophy without much pushback, but it was of course taken away because of impermissible benefits including buying a house for his mom
-Did anyone ever really not associate him as the Heisman winner from ’05 even with the rescinding of the trophy for years?

Welcome to Day 1 of the NFL Draft…how is the intrigue for this year’s draft compare to past drafts?
-As many as 6 QBs could possibly go in tonight’s first round, with USC’s Caleb Williams expected to be No. 1 overall…after that, there’s lots of questions of who is next out of Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix, and Bo Nix
-Do any of these players seem like for sure stars in the league right away? How many if so?
-It’s also a draft full of good offensive linemen…would you take one in the first round or rely on the depth of the position this year for later rounds?

Rise and Shine
Early Break is like listening to 3 guys that have been together for a lifetime. They obviously take their jobs very seriously (they are VERY knowledgeable and informative), but they don’t take themselves very seriously (they literally make me laugh out loud at least once each episode). Early break is the best radio show/podcast in Nebraska by far. Sipp and Jake clearly “get” each other and are very synergistic. As great of a coach Bill was, I think he’s and even better radio personality. The Jake, Sipp, and Busch show will be around for a LONG time and should plan on a road show/tour with live performances.
Podcast
Please fix the playback volume on the podcast. Also, ads play right in the middle of conversations which is absolutely ridiculous. Great show!
Great show
My only complaint is I am forced to listen to podcast because where I live and my job and on certain days I am missing quite a few segments and the segments come in all different order. is there any way to do number them?
