The Husker247 Podcast went on the road — at least two of its members did as the trio recorded a show focused on what they heard listening to several Nebraska representatives at Big Ten Media Days.
The podcast focused on what Matt Rhule had to say about the upcoming 2024 season, including his thoughts on his team, the quarterback position, turnover margin and more.
Additionally Husker247 dove into athletic director Troy Dannen’s plan to bring grass to Memorial Stadium and gave thoughts on what’s next for college athletics. 
Finally they shared their takeaways from hearing Isaac Gifford, Ty Robinson and Ben Scott all talk about what’s next for the Huskers and what lays ahead in the 2024 season.

The football season has inched closer now as we’ve reached late July and that means its Big Ten Media Days week so the Husker247 trio got together to discuss the upcoming season.
Who is representing the Huskers in Indianapolis? What are we expecting in terms of national buzz about Nebraska? Will Brian Christopherson go to Elmo’s and get the shrimp cocktail? 
Those questions were answered on the podcast and much more was discussed like what we anticipate Isaac Gifford, Ty Robinson and Ben Scott will have to say and the most interesting topics Matt Rhule will have to delve into on Wednesday, like what life will be like after losing Evan Cooper, but gaining John Butler as his new defensive backs coach.
Then conversation shifted to the most indispensable Huskers list put together by Husker247. Why was this year unique? How do we feel like the list looks overall? 
After a break things return with recruiting talk as the Kade Pietrzak commitment is discussed and why Nebraska fans should continue to feel good about what the Huskers are doing in the trenches.
Additionally there’s plenty of Jackson Cantwell talk and the show finishes with a discussion about Nebraska being picked eighth in the conference for the upcoming season.

The Husker247 Podcast resumed on Tuesday and hit on the topics that are on everyone’s mind these days — Bryson Webber’s commitment and NCAA Football 2025.
Brian Christopherson breaks down the Webber commitment, why he stuck with Nebraska even after the coaching change, why the Huskers remain so high on the defender and other thoughts on the most recent addition.
Conversation then shifts to where things stand with linebacker Will Hawthorne and how the Huskers are hoping to tackle some Kansas City recruiting efforts with the addition of Jamar Mozee on staff.
Finally things finish up as Mike Schaefer walks through his NCAA 2025 experience, we learn which games BC used to play in his youth and the Huskers who have fair complaints over their low ratings. As a bonus both continue to hype up Nebraska-Colorado for early September.

Brian Christopherson and Mike Schaefer got together on Tuesday to discuss the latest news in Nebraska football, touching on Evan Cooper’s resignation, the anticipation of John Butler being named the next defensive backs coach and more on the room itself.
To start with the two discussed just how much Cooper meant to Matt Rhule and the staff and why his loss is more than just changing out a position coach, particularly in regards to what he did in recruiting and with evaluation.
From there the two conversed about Butler and how he transitions into the job and what he has waiting for him in the room.
