L.A.M.E. Book Club Podcast

Okay so I have listened to your podcast on and off for a bout a year now. I loved your ACOTAR recaps and since I finished Onyx Storm I’ve been listening to your recaps of it. Let me tell you, I have not genuinely laughed that hard in a while with all the mental health issues I am going through. Your comparison to Traeger and “meat” absolutely sent me! Thank you for the laughs 🙂

Starting out by saying I apologize for procrastinating this review for the past 6+ months. I truly love this podcast and I am sorry it has taken me so long. I got back into reading last year and when I read ACOTAR I had maybe 1 person to talk to about it and went out searching for more and found you. I have been listening ever since and you two truly make me laugh and I have enjoyed falling in love with reading again. I especially love that I’m not the only one quoting Disney, animated films, and other miscellaneous quotes while reading and talking about these books. All this to say, NO NOTES and I can’t wait for what’s to come! EVERYONE who loves reading Romantasy/Fantasy should listen to Melissa and Ellie!!

I’ve never been a podcast person. I don’t enjoy podcasts, and I don’t listen to them. But, I struck gold with this one. I’m a college student reading Onyx Storm right now, and I was looking for a channel on YouTube doing a read-along of the book so I’d have content to watch or listen to while I’m reading. Basically, I’m completely obsessed with this series and wanted to find some also completely obsessed creators. I stumbled upon Ellie and Melissa’s video on the first six chapters of Onyx Storm, and it was PERFECT! I can’t wait to watch/listen to more episodes, and I’m buying a L.A.M.E. Book Club sticker as I type this. Thank you Ellie and Melissa🩷🥳

Listening from all the way in Jamaica! 🇯🇲 I found you guys on YouTube when trying to recap myself for the onyx storm release and Not only was I well informed but I was also blown away by how funny you guys were. So relatable and real!! The amount of work you guys put into each episode is absolutely amazing. And you guys have definitely created a safe space for me in the midst of stressful life. This bookclub is a 5/5 stars, excellent plot, amazing banter and lovable characters, would def recommend!!
