Love this church
Lakeside feels like home. The pastoral staff is incredible, the children’s ministry serves long hours in a thankless job, and the generosity and actions of this church body have transformed lives in this city, country, and world. So proud to call Lakeside home.
Quite concerned with their content.
I’m appalled at the fact that this church had an Imam come in and they didn’t talk about Mohamud, the rapist and murderer, or Sharia law which dictates that Apostates be killed. There was no mention either that 80% of Pakistani and Egyptian Muslims believe it’s ok to kill apostates. This is a church that lies by omission for the sake of virtue-signaling. I’m sure this Imam they had in is a cool dude, but his religion is garbage and he chooses to ignore its centerpieces of violent theocracy. Is he really a Muslim?

Well I would say this is unusual to have another denomination come into a church but, I think you are missing the point. I believe the purpose is to look at the similarities not the differences. Christ loves all of us and we are supposed to love are neighbors, all neighbors not just the ones you have beliefs in common with. We are supposed to be Christ like not like the Pharisees. I hope this experience lessens the hate between people. May God bless you
