Throughout the year, the Land-Grant Podcast Network will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conferences, but also from individual interview sessions. On today's episode of "Land-Grant Uncut," we are bringing you unedited audio from the Saturday, Oct. 26 postgame press conference following Ohio State's 21-17 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Ohio Stadium. The collected media had the opportunity to hear from head coach Ryan Day, running back Quinshon Judkins, and quarterback Will Howard. All three praised the defensive performance, especially in the second half, as Nebraska's defense stonewalled OSU's offensive attack. The head coach declined to get into specifics about the offensive line performance, or what the plan would be if Zen Michalski is unable to go next week. Judkins discussed the offense's struggles to run the ball and Will Howard said that he was looking forward to playing in his home state of Pennsylvania and making the Nittany Lions regret not offering him a scholarship. On Land-Grant Holy Land In Conversation, we talk to people in and around Ohio State athletics, and the sporting world at large, to bring you a different insight and perspective to the teams, athletes, and university that you love. On today's episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with the Nebraska beat writer for The Athletic, Mitch Sherman. The pair discuss what the hell happened in the Huskers' 56-7 beatdown at the hands of Indiana last weekend, and whether or not they have enough to circle the wagons to make things interesting in Columbus on Saturday. While Sherman believes that Nebraska pulling off the upset would be one of the biggest shocks of the decade, he does think that if it is a game late in the fourth quarter, it will be a low-scoring affair. From there, he breaks down the matchups depending on who has the ball and gives some insight into the mindset of Big Red Nation. I-80 Football Show: Will the Real Rich Rod Please Stand Up!

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s I-80 Football Show. On this show, we travel down I-80 to talk all things Big Ten Football. This is the only Big Ten Podcast that’ll cover all 18 teams. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan. After attending Rutgers homecoming, Jordan is back on the podcast to break down his experience starting with UCLA having a near-perfect day on offense against a once-good Rutgers defense. For the last five weeks, UCLA looked like a program that wasn’t going to win another game all season but the cross-country travel couldn't stop an offensive explosion that say quarterback Etha Garber accounted for over 400 yards of offense and five touchdowns. Despite the disappointing showing by the home team, Rutgers threw a good tailgate as their homecoming looked way more fun than actually going to the game. In their picks segment the guys had a rough week going 2-5 due in part to USC and Lincoln Riley losing another game in which they led in the fourth quarter. While not originally his idea Jordan takes a moment to break down the similarities between Lincoln Riley and Rich Rod. Michigan and USC both thought they had a homerun hire but in the end, they may have struck out. This fun but weird season delivered again as Indiana beat Nebraska 56-7, Michigan State upset Iowa and Illinois bullied Michigan despite them having a week off to prepare their third starting quarterback of the season. In the MapQuest segment, we have a late-night game between Rutgers and USC on Friday kicking off at 11 pm EST after game one of the World Series. On Saturday we have Ohio State - Nebraska at noon. Illinois-Oregon midday and Penn State-Wisconsin in primetime. We’ll also be keeping an eye on Michigan-Michigan State. Iowa is a better team and MSU found a way to win, can they continue the momentum against their biggest rival? For their weekly pitstop, Jordan is celebrating New York's recent NWSL and WNBA championships. Can New York continue the magic and win the Yankees' 28th World Series? On today's episode of "Land-Grant Uncut," we are bringing you unedited audio from the Tuesday, Oct. 22 press conference featuring Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day and starting quarterback Will Howard. During their media availabilities, Ryan Day discussed the defensive shortcomings that led to his team's 32-31 defeat in Eugene, Oregon. He says that he has been more hands-on with the defense since the loss, and agreed with Nick Saban that the defensive front scheme was not what it should have been against the Ducks. He also provided a few little updates on some key injuries. Then, quarterback Will Howard broke down the final six seconds of the game in detail and discussed what he would do differently if he had the opportunity. “CJ Stroud is the best QB in OSU history” just because of stats or mechanics? If those stats are against Rutgers, Indiana, and a depleted Utah secondary then yeah I guess? What about against Michigan’s secondary? Notre Dame’s secondary? Penn State’s secondary the past 2 years? I can forgive bad takes but this is so bad that I had to write a review. C’mon Jordan 😂

Please, please, please upgrade to a better microphone or stop yelling. The feedback makes me turn this podcast off or skip episodes more often than not anymore because it sounds like a drive thru speaker. There’s also random cuts and edits where you’ll suddenly be back 10 minutes in the conversation. The quality has declined significantly over the past couple years. Just not what it used to be, unfortunately.
