James Monroe
You may not be as familiar with the name James Monroe as you are George Washington, but this man was dynamic. He was gifted physically, intellectually, and spiritually. He was a Secretary of State, Secretary of War, the Governor of Virginia, a U.S. Diplomat, and two term President of the United States. Monroe literally gave his life in public service to this country. Come with me on a journey as we discuss the life of James Monroe.

Love love love!
Please do more of these! I’ve listened to them all and am totally fascinated. Seriously recommend this podcast to everyone needing a real history lesson about people we rarely are taught about. So so good!
Very good!
I love these history lessons. I too must have slept through history in school or have forgotten what I learned. All these episodes have been very educational. Thank you for your love of history and this country! And thank you for sharing your knowledge. My only suggestion would to be get better sound on the recordings. I can’t hear it very well unless I have earphones. Thanks.
