He holds a Honorary Doctorate of the Universities Uppsala, Örebro and Oulu, as well as the Grand Medal of the University of Ghent. His books have won multiple awards, and his highly influential publications have been translated into 18 languages. Monica is CEO of Enliven Work, a social benefit corporation established as an innovation partner of the Center for Positive Organizations. She is also Faculty Director of Engaged Learning and Innovation at Center for Positive Organizations, and Research Scientist at Stanford University Center for Compassion and Altruism Research. Moreover, Jane is co-founder of Compassion Lab, of which Monica is executive director. The goal of the Lab is to create a new vision of organizations as sites for the development and expression of compassion.
