Ian Stevenson, works to facilitate collaboration in cities around the spiritual relational and practical challenges in them.
There is a lot involved and it is not exactly a linear process but in general this is how Ian Stevenson leads leaders in Christ:
Identify a Christ Centered leader in a city that feels called to establish more unity. Help them outline a “listening tour” they can do for their city. Help them strategize on how to engage pastors and churches in praying together. Help them gather data on their city/community and identify what some of the spiritual, relational and practical challenges are in their city. Help them establish a sustainable structure and game plan for developing an ongoing movement towards greater collaboration and collective impact in their city. The reason why Ian Stevenson is called to lead in Christ is because of Jesus' prayer in John 17 particularly verse 23: "I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me."
Ian Stevenson is also inspired by:
Jeremiah 29:7 (ESV): 7 But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.Because cities are a strategic structure where God wants us to fight for unity and the Body of Christ should be leading the way in this. We are Better Together. https://www.weartrellis.com

Catholic Sports Radio host Bruce Wawrzyniak and Aaron Guyett on Leaders of Leaders Podcast

Catholic Sports Radio host Bruce Wawrzyniak and Aaron Guyett on Leaders of Leaders Podcast

Bruce Wawrzyniak is a publicist, speaker, broadcaster, blogger, and author, and has been podcasting since February 2014 – having hosted/recorded more than 700 episodes over that time.  Over his professional career he has worked for a National Hockey League team as well as in the Olympic Movement, plus as the VP/Public Relations at a league office.  He runs his own agency, called Now Hear This, which provides publicist services to clients throughout the U.S.  He even somehow manages to serve as a broadcaster on University of Tampa softball and men’s and women’s lacrosse broadcasts.

    From Bruce:
Among the podcasts I currently host/produce (there are actually three!), “Catholic Sports Radio” has an amazing story of how it started.  Here is a video explaining me hearing my calling while on a river boat in Brazil during a business trip – yes, on the Amazon River.  https://youtu.be/ArzifdonVTo
The “why” behind doing this show every week since February 2019 – getting no income from it and having no sponsors – is to draw more people deeper in their faith, even if it takes the mix of faith and sports to do so.
I don’t report scores or talk about wins and losses or statistics.  Rather, I interview guests who are Catholics in sports – current or former athletes, coaches, referees/umpires, clergy, administrators, and more, from the pro, amateur, and scholastic ranks – about the intersection of their faith life and their sports life.
Sports are great and there are a lot of terrific benefits to sport (teamwork, physical fitness, good sportsmanship) and it’s okay to want to strive for that pro contract.  BUT, we worship God, and God alone.  We don’t worship sport.
Too often sports can become our religion.
As a current National Hockey League player told me on an early episode of the show, “If we’re lucky – if we’re lucky – we get to play, say, into our age 30s, so, maybe we have our pro career for ten years.  But we have our faith for our whole life.”
My show allows listeners to hear the human side of people that we otherwise are tempted to put on a pedestal – the times of adversity in their life, meaning, when they faced something that was anything but glamorous.  Guests have included actor Mark Wahlberg, TV personality Mario Lopez, auto racing icon Mario Andretti, college football coaching legend Lou Holtz, and many more.

Mitchell Andersen talks Attributes of Manhood on Leaders of Leaders with Aaron Guyett

Mitchell Andersen talks Attributes of Manhood on Leaders of Leaders with Aaron Guyett

It was great to interview Mitchell Andersen, and help bring his Christ-led passion to light. As a husband and father of three boys and a girl on the way, he speaks with unapologetic hope in the Kingdom of God, and I think you will enjoy the show!

In our society, men have lost their way. We no longer have role models showing us what to look like or how to act. Men have exchanged toxic masculinity for weak-kneed, spineless robots who are afraid of their shadows. Neither of these was ever supposed to be a part of man's original design. Culture tells men to look deep inside themselves for their truth. Sadly, once they do, they find that they are lacking. Men see what is necessary to thrive in manhood but realize they possess none of the tools required to fulfill this responsibility.

Attributes of Manhood: Stones that Build the Foundation to Weather Any Storm
This book aims to invite men to wrestle with five key attributes pulled from the Word of God pertinent for men to assume their rightful place once again in society and, more importantly, in the home. We need to unlock the strength hidden deep within men because the weight of the world is far too great for women, or children, to carry alone. For men to accomplish their original design, we need the Spirit of God to empower us and contend for us. I hope this book inspires the men of this generation to unleash the power of Jesus Christ in their lives to overcome their basest urges and give glory back to their Designer.

I am happy to be a part of a movement to call men back from their scared shadows of isolation and emasculation. This book marches toward strength in God through Christ's redemptive and redirecting work on the cross, as well as gives credit to the greek thinkers that helped pave a way to understand this process called life and purpose and meaning.
