Genuinely my favorite podcast! The amount of healing that I have been able to receive through listening is something I’m so thankful for. Deconstructing as a now lesbian from a high control religion can be isolating so thank you for helping me feel less alone 💙

three years ago, i left the catholic church. i felt so incredibly alone, which made an already painful time excruciating. i wish i had this resource then!! it is so cathartic to hear about similiar niche fundie catholic experiences.right now i am lucky to be surrounded by my chosen family, who love and accept me for who i am. however, they do not understand the unique breed of trauma that comes with growing up gay in fundamental catholicism. this podcast is a therapeutic window into that time in my life, and i have found it so valuable to hear evelyn and veronica process their experiences. i left, i’m laughing, and i am loving 🌈❤️❤️
