Focusing today on an innovative subject, we discussed with Trisha Banya, a technology and startup lawyer living in Tallinn, Estonia, about what it takes to be a remote lawyer and how legal tech solutions can improve the quality of the legal activity.

Originally from Uganda, Trisha owns the title of Masters of Arts in information technology Law obtained from the University of Tartu.  She then decided to remain in Estonia and help technology startups make their way within the legal hustle.

Continuing our mission to discover and bring to light exciting stories from the legal world, in this episode, I discussed with Isabel Venegas, lawyer and Legal Operations specialist, within a law firm in the sunny city of Barcelona, Spain.

Doing less typical work, Isabel has exciting tasks to perform in her job. From establishing internal processes and rules to managing change in the company or helping to standardise the services within the law firm, Isabel is doing all that while working remotely.

Isabel supports a hybrid schedule, as she confesses that when she needs to do user research or find ways to help lawyers ease their work, she needs to observe how all this work is done precisely. Also, meeting from time to time with the team is suitable for those who still have issues with adopting the remote work, helping everyone align with the mission and values.
