Ep. 1: The Legend of Pigman

Ep. 1: The Legend of Pigman

On Legend’s very first episode Samm shares with Amy her very own local legend. In 1913 a man by the name of William Derrecks was born with Frontonasal Dysplasia which caused him to have severe facial abnormalities and intellectual disabilities. Already born into a family with a history of involvement with tragic events; he had to endure the scrutiny of the village of Angola, New York which pushed him into reclusion. Did he truly become the monster the village believed him to be, a creature hellbent on terrorizing the local youths who used Holland Road as their Lovers Lane or was he simply a misunderstood man hiding from the prying eyes of a closed minded society? Samm shares her experiences growing up around this legend along with sharing her dad’s own experiences during a time when this legend was in the forefront of everyone’s mind.

If you are from Angola, New York and also grew up with Pigman’s urban legend and have a story to share, whether it be your very own experience or a different version of the urban legend itself, we would love to hear from you!

Samm shares with Amy five frightening stories of BEKs that will make you think twice about letting those poor helpless children inside. Check your era, because NO ONE has a home phone anymore…

    Don’t let them in!

Ep. 2: The Hauntings of St. Augustine Lighthouse

On Anastasia Island tragedy is certainly no stranger to the over 147 year old lighthouse located on the coast of St. Augustine, Florida. From its humble beginnings as a Spanish look out tower that eventually toppled into the sea to the now impressively tall present day lighthouse that was moved slightly inland; it’s had its fair share of heartbreak and sorrow. From war to accidental deaths, this lighthouse is the perfect breeding ground for the supernatural. Want to play a friendly game of hide and seek with spirits from the afterlife or maybe feel the ominous presence of “The Man in Blue”? You’ll find it all at the St. Augustine Lighthouse.

If you are from St. Augustine, Florida and have a story to share, whether it be your very own paranormal experience or a different twist on any of the tragic stories throughout the lighthouse’s history, we would love to hear from you!

On Samm’s lucky number 3 episode of Legend Samm and Amy talk Alaska and ottermen.

You’ve heard of the Bermuda Triangle but did you know Alaska has its very own mysterious triangle? In an area where people go missing at the twice the rate of the national average, most scramble to create a reason for it. Sure, the harsh terrain and weather could definitely have a role in it but have you ever considered the possibility of 8 feet tall ottermen? From a missing prominent House Majority Leader to a deadly landslide; dive in with Samm and Amy as they discuss the Kushtaka from Tlingit folklore and learn why you should never trust an otter at face value. Hope you have your copper, urine, and fire at hand because you never know when you just might need it.

If you are from The Alaskan Triange and grew up with the Kushtaka legend and have a story to share, whether it be your very own experience or a different version of the legend itself, we would love to hear from you!

Ep 4: The Legend of Champ

Ep 4: The Legend of Champ

On the 4th episode Samm is back at it with another home town story from her
mom’s side of the aisle. Samm and Amy discuss the very cryptic cryptid,
    Champ.
In one of the biggest lakes of the United States a sea monster lurks just
    beneath the surface.

Ep 5: The Legend of Skinwalker Ranch

Ep 5: The Legend of Skinwalker Ranch

On the 5th episode of Legend, Samm and Amy discuss the bizarre occurrences at Skinwalker Ranch.
Southeast of Ballard, Utah sits a secluded ranch that seems to be a hot spot for all types of activity. Aptly named after the Skinwalkers of Navajo legend, the ranch attracts paranormal investigators and UFO hunters alike. Unfortunately for the the Shermans however, this place has it all- paranormal activity, UFO activity (cows and all), portals, and cryptids... and they couldn’t wait to leave. Of course a story of this magnitude wouldn’t be complete without government involvement and a few billionaires as well. If you’re tired of running in circles (insert Post Malone joke here) for the perfect story, Samm and Amy have found it for you.
If you are from the Uintah Basin or Utah and have a story to share, whether it be your very own experience or a different version of the events we discuss, we would love to hear from you!
