    Creepy Cornfields

    Creepy Cornfields

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys start the show off by talking about the upcoming archery season and how they are ready to do some much-needed hunting and time in the woods. Then, a central Texas resident walking in the rural countryside with his dog when he suddenly encounters two large coyotes crossing the road, but one of them morphs into a NOT DEER! Next, a listener writes into the show about a strange ghost encounter while back in college while preparing for Halloween.

After the break, Cam brings up some strange stories involving cornfields. Why are cornfields so darn creepy? Within the sub-genre of rural horror, sometimes cornfields are used as an easy way to add atmosphere to the film. Other times, the land is crucial to the happenings of the characters' story, or a terrifying maze where it's nearly impossible to stay hidden. The corn creates a feeling of claustrophobia, while also providing no shelter for the subject lost in the corn. Corn grows tall and endlessly, creating an inescapable ocean of pale yellow - it's easy to get trapped. A fear of cornfields is called Navarrofobia!

    The Tall Whites

    The Tall Whites

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys start the show off by talking about the most recent ADCC or the Abu Dhabi Combat Club grappling match. Then, Kyle's wife recently took a trip to Arkansas with other family members and learned a valuable lesson. Then, two people driving near they're home just outside of Alamogordo, New Mexico noticed a large Pterodactyl-like creature flying near them.

After the break, Kyle brings up some strange sightings of pale humanoid sightings and a strange family of Tall Whites living on Long Island, New York. One very strange area of paranormal encounters that has been appearing more and more in recent years is that of what is known commonly as “Pale Crawlers.” These are tall, often gaunt, and scrawny pale humanoids that look like something out of a surreal nightmare, appearing to startle witnesses before slinking off into the gloom. While many of these encounters occur in remote, rural areas, this seems to not always be the case, and whatever these bizarre entities are, they have also been spotted in suburban, residential areas.

Then, a US Army Sargeant, stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, decides to go turkey hunting but ends up seeing a Bigfoot instead. Next, a listener writes in with terrifying encounter with the Greys when abducted at a friends house.

After the break Cam brings up some strange tales/legends of missing treasure, pirates and more. Hidden treasures aren’t just for pirates, movies, and pirate movies—there’s actually treasure buried all over, including here in the United States. While some buried treasures have been found, there’s still plenty out there just waiting to be discovered by metal detector, shovel, or puzzle-solving mind. Creepy Campuses and Deadly Dorms

    Creepy Campuses and Deadly Dorms

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, Kyle and Cam start off talking about the rain and cooler weather in North Central Texas, the world championship of disc golf and Cam's upcoming visit to ReaperCon!. Then, two people celebrating their first honeymoon take a trip for a weekend before Christmas in Oregon where they have a scary encounter with a Sasquatch. Next, a person in India sees a gigantic cryptic bird of impossible size. After the break Cam brings up some Haunted Colleges.

Some universities are said to have been built on ancient burial sites; others were apparently the scenes of tragic suicides and unexplained deaths. It’s probably little wonder, then, that so many college campuses are supposedly haunted. Taking in everything from possessed paintings to mischief-making poltergeists, haunted college ghost legends are as varied as they are chilling. What’s more, while some schools seem to shrug off their allegedly haunted histories, others actively embrace the reputations they have for all things paranormal. Students, meanwhile, have turned the humble ghost story into a campus institution, and tales are enthusiastically passed down from each generation of freshmen to the next. What do you think?

Love these guys!!

I heard about this podcast on another podcast and became a fan at once. I love the write-in stories and these two guys do a great job relateing the stories. I didn't realize that there were so many odd and differet sightings of unexplainable phenominum.I'm facinated by it all.

Always enjoyable!

Kyle and Cam have such a great working relationship and have such great personalities for this podcast! I look forward to every episode release because they are a great de-stressor and perfectly timed for my daily commutes home from work. Been listening since 2017 and finally got around to giving them the 5-star review they deserve.

Once was good

I started listening about a year after the show got started and it quickly became my favorite. I even signed up for elite and would listen to the back catalog more then a few times. At first they said there would be no commercials and that was great. Later they added a short commercial to help pay for everything. That was ok because everyone would completely understand needing that money to cover all expenses. It was when they completely sold out that I got irritated. Instead of a short commercial a couple of times they just gave the show over mostly to money. Out of a hour show you will get a good 15 to 20 minutes of commercials. They also went and added a boat load of commercials to their back episodes. What made me mad is when I hear them throw up a commercial for expanded perspectives elite. I (WAS) an elite member until I started to get one episode every month most of the time it was an episode every two months. I emailed them a few times and never heard anything back. For over a year I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I never could find where I was missing episodes and with no response I just had assume they weren’t doing what they advertised. I use to feel like these guys were awesome buddies I would hangout with but now I feel like I’m tuning into commercials with a bit of show in between on the free show and straight being lied to on the elite show. I absolutely hate to leave a one star review but I have to be honest after a few years of trying to find out what is going on. Also Kyle complains about people looking at their phones but then talks about chewing out his wife when watches SD TV. Quit whining hypocrite. Your not even the one watching it. Don’t lecture others on things when you act that way.
