Refreshingly cool!
Really appreciate how refreshing the topics, takes and authors are. The dynamic between Sam, Jenn and Kourtney is specially effective for a group of literarians (new word!) discussing books.
It’s honest and inspiring
I loved this podcast! The openness and honesty about this book from a group women of different ethnic backgrounds was refreshing. It was like hanging out with a group of friends at a coffee shop and getting straight up honesty. Thanks for pointing out that the tittle of the book indicates it’s about emancipation celebration, but it’s as much about AGR, but nonetheless a good read.
