Sex talk with your kids
13 nov.
Can I be honest? I was at working listening to this podcast, but I had my office door closed. I was seriously sinking in my chair listening to this podcast because my children are 11 years old, 9 years old, and two years old and I can’t imagine having that talk with them. Lol. I came from a Mexican upbringing and my parents never talked about sex and always saw it as a taboo and something you were not supposed to talk about. Listening to your podcast really gave me some great ideas on how to approach the subject with my children. They have asked before how babies are born, and I just told them that God puts a seed in the mommy from the daddy and that’s how the babies get in the belly. Lol. They were really young at that time when they asked. From what I heard on the podcast, those are all great Ideas, but I need to hear more! Lol. Thanks Paula! This was really helpful. ❤️
Time well spent

I still remember when I found Paula Faris, several years ago. I was hoping to find a podcast with a girlfriend who was in the parenting trenches with me. She was exactly what I was looking for and then some! I love the variety of guests she has introduced me to through her show. Her experience as a journalist really shines through, as you can tell she does her research and asks well thought out questions. I love her recaps at the end of episodes, too. I also appreciate the concise length of her episodes, yet there is plenty of time to get to know her and her family. I’ve learned so much through her show, been encouraged, challenged and felt seen. And she has fun giveaways that I’ve benefited from, too. Highly recommend - it’s time well spent!

Paula is so down to earth and relatable. I love that she addresses topics that are ever present and not always brought up. I love that she asks the questions we are all thinking and even asks specific ones as requested by listeners. I feel like I learn something new every time I listen. I especially loved the series on menopause, college in todays day, and all of the ones related to parenting and working moms. Her guests are top notch and always interesting. I love when Paula and John are both on together. It’s gives the different perspective of hearing from the dad/husband point of view. I love to listen on long walks with my dog and look forward to each new episode .
