    Season 2 Finale

    Welcome back to LMLD! We are so sad to be recording the final episode of season two before our summer hiatus, but happy about everything the podcast has given us over the last two years. We begin by sharing our "lights" of the week, including a very special weekend spent in Columbia, Missouri celebrating Max's graduation. We are so proud and excited for what's to come! The bulk of the episode was spent talking about what this year of podcasting has meant to us, how it feels different than last year, and some of our favorite moments. We also discuss some of the goals and ideas we have for the future and wrap up with what we're into for the week. Overall, this  year has been a ton of fun and we really have enjoyed sharing our lives, thoughts, and memories with all of you. We look forward to seeing what's in store for LMLD in the future! We'll see you in September (or possibly earlier for a fun bonus episode).

Then, we went into our topic which is inspired all by the Bon Jovi concert we will have attended by the time that this episode releases. We talk about how Jamee first got into the band and how that love was eventually passed down to Lauryn and Max when they were little, and is essentially the root of their music appreciation. We share our favorite lyrics and memories associated with JBJ, in addition to generally what music has meant to us. And no need for a "what we're into" this week because Bon Jovi has certainly taken that spot!     Vacations Memories That Make Us Smile

    Welcome back to LMLD! We begin the episode by sharing our "lights" of the week, which has included some stress and burnout on our end. In order to combat that and in honor of spring break, we opted in for escapism and shared some of our favorite vacations from our past. First, Jamee shares her favorite childhood and teen vacations as a Weniger. Then, Jamee and Lauryn jointly discussed some of their favorite family vacations and the memories that still linger. Lauryn also mentioned a few trips she was fortunate enough to go on with other family members and friends. We also talked about future trips that we would love to take down the line. Overall, it was so much fun to go down memory lane and think about all of our family memories in some of the most magical and beautiful places.
