New York Giants: The "Mad Scientist"

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll hasn't officially announced that he'll be calling the plays for the team in 2024, but all signs are pointing that way. In this episode, we look at the creative differences the team has shown so far with Daboll on the radio and why these tweaks could potentially help the offense get to where it wants to be.

We also examine some of the emerging training camp battles, including some "battles" that aren't true competitions. Finally, we examine the offensive line and why the injury scare to Jermaine Eluemunor is a major red flag for this unit.

Great show!!!

Patti knows her stuff, this is my favorite Giants podcast. She is a great writer and what she says is so worth your listening time. Because she has been a Giants beat writer for a long time, she has a lot of respect from the team, players, and other journalists and it shows. But, Patti is not afraid to say what she really thinks (meaning this isn’t someone just promoting the team regardless of what is happening). However, it never descends into “Shock jock” territory where controversy is created just because. I recommend this show highly if you are a fan of the team, or if you are just a fan of good sports journalism.

Oh, and the live shows she sometimes does with the Entetainah and Bad Dog are fun. At first I wasn’t sure because the style of the other two is a little more “in your face,” but I was able to adjust and enjoy hearing the three of them work together.

Love the show

Pat has been around a long time and knows her stuff . She is a great host with awesome insight and true dedication to the fans . Months later this review still stands . I love Patti!!! I’m sorry I hate to do this but Dog is the worst .. entertainah is cool but I can’t stand listening to Dog. He tries too hard. I love the locked on lives and will still listen but he makes it difficult at times .

Doesn’t take feedback for bad mistakes

Patti MUST be listened to at 1.5 unless you wanna be put to sleep

Her articles and podcasts average 1-2 factual errors each time. She’s said:
Zack Martin was drafted as a Tackle
Jeremy Shockey had at least one 1000yd season
Dallas hasn’t won a playoff game in 5 years
Quarterbacks have two blind sides (when talking about right and left tackles)

If I’ve ever tried to share the mistake my comment gets rejected for a violation.

Bad journalism should be a violation. But any idiot who’s been doing it forever gets skip simple fact checks. Skip this one unless you like fluffy interviews and bad facts.
