Locked On Whining
I get preseason is pretty anemic when it comes to big talking points without sounding repetitive after one has already been covered. Once the season begins is when the podcast gets juicy. But, if we’re gonna listen to the show during the offseason, we’re pretty avid bb fans and get (I hope) the team isn’t gonna win 50 games right outta the shoot bc Wemby is here. Let’s at least skip the Huxtable-family lessons like “we all just have to be patient with this young team, “ & “you remember what it was like being a teenager; you had to go through a lot to get to where you are now.” Maybe a more focused approach that discusses the team’s needs, strengths, weaknesses, potential, etc. for those of us who want to hear about the bb side of things in SAS land vs the process of personally accepting young talent. You’re either a fan or you’re not. If you’re not then you’re not listening to the SAS-oriented podcast. I read a lot of articles about player news, proposed trade packages, etc. the national media will never cover. I wish we could include a lot more info about that stuff. Maybe a co-host with some more interest in that area? Go Spurs Go!
Hit or Miss
The show has its moments when it's good and moments when it's bad. Although I do enjoy the geeking out of pop culture it happens a little too much. There's times where Jeff talk and uses slang, I'm not sure which age group he is trying to satisfy. I do enjoy some of the guests he has but at times I feel like he's afraid to disagree with him.
On game days, he talks for three minutes about the game and moves onto the next thing. overall could use some improvement and better quality as well
Portland, Spurs Preview
Don’t understand why a preview of today’s game doesn’t get attention until the last 7mins. Primo info good btw
