Lorehammer - A Warhammer 40k Podcast

I love how the guys explain stuff. People liked to complain about them reading from wiki but that’s helpful. Even if they are referencing wiki or the codex it’s helpful for those of us who do commutes or don’t want to spend hours and hours reading or can’t afford to buy all the books. I definitely feel more well versed in the lore since listening to Lorehammer. 13 episodes in and can’t wait for more.

The claim that one member of this room full of obvious virgins has a baby is as unimaginable as the number seemingly common words they mispronounce with regularly. The audio quality is frequently terrible as well (inconsistent levels, echos, etc.). The content is very good despite the amateurish presentation full of the exact amount of homophobia you would expect from these incels. If you want a deep dive from someone who is just reading the wiki, and have a long drive and a lot of patience for some guys who never got hooked on phonics, you are in the right place.

Got into warhammer through total war. Started listening to this podcast a week or two ago to learn about the 40k. Been great so far!

I wish I could enjoy this podcast, I really do. However I can’t get past the repeated and frequent homophobic and transphobic slurs. Inb4 “well get over it and stop listening” That’s not the point. This attitude propagates a gross and negative community around what is supposed to be a hobby for everyone to enjoy. All you need to do is look at their replies to comments or feedback sharing my sentiment and you’ll understand.
