    John Asalon (Cincinnati Reds)

John Asalon was a member of the Cincinnati Reds grounds crew at Riverfront Stadium from 1972-1979. He had a front row seat for some of the biggest games in baseball history. This week, he gives us an inside look at Crosley Field (games he attended as a kid), Riverfront Stadium (where he worked as a teenager) and the Big Red Machine. It's a completely unique perspective that only someone who worked so closely with the team during that decade could provide. Enjoy!

Good job

I really enjoy podcast like this. Thanks for putting them together. I really like the first hand accounts reported by people that were actually there.

Great interviews with great guests

Consistently great interviews with older ball players and people associated with lost ballparks. The interviewer does his homework and asks intelligent, informed questions of his guests. Give it a listen.
