    BILLY RAY CYRUS & FIREROSE

Ever been in a dark place and hanging on to the promise of a new day - a brighter day? Most of us have been there, some of us are there now. Billy Ray Cyrus, and newcomer, FIREROSE, can speak to the experience and are here to offer a ray of hope in their collaborative single, "New Day." I'd never met either of our guests before, and my heart was deeply touched by each of their stories. This episode has some very special moments. If you've ever had a dog claim you as "their person," if you're a fan of George Jones or Johnny Cash, and if you believe that each new day brings grace and opportunity our way, you'll want to listen in! (PLUS, our guests generously perform "New Day" in the Zoom studio, just for us!) ~ Delilah

    FRANK SILLER

    FRANK SILLER

Twenty years ago, on September 11, 2001, our world changed forever. Stephen Siller, a young firefighter from Staten Island was one of thousands of lives lost while trying to save others from the collapsing twin towers. Afterward, his family, lead by brother, Frank Siller, started the Tunnel to Towers Foundation with the mission to pay off the mortgages of fallen first responders, easing the financial burden of loved ones left behind. Since that time, they've expanded their scope to encompass families of all first responders who don't make it home, and are building some of the most advanced "smart" homes for mortally wounded military personnel. It's their way of honoring their brother's life and by taking the advice of St. Francis, "Brothers and sisters, while you have time, do good." This is a powerful, moving, podcast episode on the eve of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Prepare your hearts. ~ Delilah

    P!NK

The BEST conversations I have with my guests are those that happen on-the-fly. Unscripted, with little planning, and straight from the heart. Like today's podcast with P!NK! It was so unexpected. She pulled over, with kids Willow and Jameson in the back seat, to spend a little minute with us. We chatted about her new single - and the fantastic documentary created from filming her 2019 world tour - "All I Know So Far." Turns out she knows quite a lot! Like how to be true to yourself, how to give yourself grace, and how to pour yourself into your passions. You won't want to miss this sweet episode!

She rocks

I love hearing Delilah. I used to listen to her on the radio… but when she went off the air I was upset but now that she is back I honor and respect her

Saved me

I too am a 28 year old who listened to your show on a radio in my room. The stories were inspirational and touching, as were the personal song dedications from listeners. It showed me that no matter what I faced there was a brighter side of life. But I mainly listened to your show simply to hear that wonderful voice of yours. You see before I found your show I was an insomniac as a child. One evening I happened across a gem of a station with a show titled Delilah. The moment your voice reached my ears, I immediately would relax and fall asleep.
I was sad when I couldn’t find your show because I needed it in high school. Maybe it was still around but I live in Jax Florida and the usual station wasn’t playing it. The stories would’ve helped and I could have slept to the sound of your voice.
I’m glad to have found you again and to be able to hear your voice!!!
Love you and hope you stay safe during COVID and everything else going on.

Delilah - you keep me young

I’m 28 now, and I’ve listened to you since I was 8. So for twenty years you have been my favorite person on the radio. When the radio channels switched and you left one of the channels I listened to you on, I cried. It was such a terrible day for me, because you were my person that I came too at night to help me get rid of the terrible days I had when I was younger. Now that I have found your podcast I have my happy place again, and I have my favorite person back. Thank you Delilah, for all that you do.
