Helpful

I never knew how to include the enneagram type into my life because I knew as a Christian Christ is where I should put my identity. But with the help of the cast, they've put the enneagram into a biblical perspective that is true and explains me and others in a different light. Thank you cast for all your hard work and love of your neighbors to put these episodes together! I have a podcast so I get that's hard work. Although, yours is a legit podcast lol!

Five stars and one suggestion

Guys! I love your podcast and the new season has been just as helpful and engaging as the last.

Here is my “one” suggestion: when I hear you discuss types that are different from your own, I observe overtones that make other types into one-dimensional caricatures. I bring this up because every time I hear you discuss my type, I cringe. I rightly expect to hear the default of my type in particular portrayed as unhealthy; the trouble is that it feels demoralizing.

I’m glad to admit that I am an enneagram one (was it obvious?) and I would love to hear reminders of the good and beautiful parts of the average and above levels of my type.

For more context, when you play some of the games, I leave the podcast feeling sad and misunderstood because you guys seem to miss the heart of the one. If we bring the gift of God’s righteousness, why can’t the discussion focus more on that rather than our difficulties and weaknesses. Vanilla ice cream? No way. Ultimately, I feel that the podcast sometimes miss the complexity of the one. (It makes me want a one on the show!)

Overall, I truly enjoy the podcast and it often provides food for thought and reminder of the gospel.

Blessings to each of you!

Listen while I work 🎶🎶

Over the past year or so I have been trying to learn more about the Enneagram and came across the Enneacast. I particularly like the fact that it is from a Christian perspective and a growth mindset—using the Enneagram to help the individual grow in their relationships with Hod and others. This is very important to me as a minister and a person so I appreciate that approach to the content. I also like the personal examples and guests that help show what the different personality types look like in real life. Thanks for making this podcast available. I enjoy listening while I work!
