LoveCast The BL Podcast

love the lovecast hosts and their discussions on topics that may or may not be considered controversial but are very much needed. also their guest interviews and series reviews are always enjoyable. i’m glad i’ve come across their podcast and look forward to all their content.

I would have originally given this a 5 but am now edging closer to 3.5 the more I listen, so landing in the middle. I really appreciate the insightful commentary and deep dives of this podcast. However I am increasingly frustrated by the imbalance between the three hosts. One speaker consistently dominates over the other two — not only in how many minutes they speak but the level of how effusive or critical they are. I first noticed this during an episode where two hosts supposedly loved a show and the third hated it, yet the criticism dominated 2/3 of the discussion, leaving the episode with an overall negative tone. This is an area where I hope they can improve in the future

They are always so professional and really fun in their interviews! They have great guests on and ask really interesting questions! A lovely crew and a very entertaining podcast!

I love the Lovecast crew and they put on consistently great content featuring everything you would want to know about the Boys Love genre from interviews with Thai actors and BL production staff, tea time, discussing important and timely topics, and helping new and old fans alike deepen their appreciation and analysis of the BL genre from an entertainment and industry perspective. Kudos to all their hard work!
