[2:44] Understanding and Healing the Soul ● As a child, Rob experienced anxiety, faced bullies, and felt unloved. These wounds created a deep fear in him, and he always tried to hide from new environments. ● Through God, Rob found his soul healed. Today, he has the strength to fearlessly travel the world to spread God’s healing. ● Reagan Kramer reflects on how many people can relate to childhood experiences that impact their soul and how they may not realize it. ● Rob explains that the soul is synonymous with the Old Testament concept of the heart. It is the center of human operations. ● Many people do not give enough importance to the idea of the soul, and Reagan thinks it is used too flippantly in the modern day. [6:35] Starting the Soul Care Movement ● Rob Reimer started the soul care movement after planting a church in Boston. ● He experienced a marriage crisis that led him to realize the need for personal change rather than focusing on the other person's issues. ● But Rob was able to overcome this crisis through his faith. He received principles to live by from God, and applied them to his life. ● Today, he feels confident enough to pass on these principles to help others, leading to the development of his book and ministry. [8:30] Narcissism and Self-Centeredness ● Everyone has a bias towards self. That self-centeredness is a result of sin. But focusing on oneself leads to misery, while focusing on Jesus and others brings peace. ● Rob describes a powerful idea: the biblical concept of dying to self as essential for experiencing abundant life in Christ. ● Dying to self involves overcoming self-centeredness, self-protection, and self-reliance. Reagan Kramer herself has found that this concept helped her in her spiritual journey. ● Without dying to self, Christ cannot be formed in a person, and they remain bound by their sinful nature. [13:05] Repentance, Brokenness, and Soul Care ● Dr. Rob explains the first step, identity, and its importance in Christian life. True identity is found in Christ, who makes us part of His family. ● The second step, repentance, heals the soul and places us in God's presence. ● Repentance is part of the good news of Jesus and essential for living in His light. Rob points out the Western value of tolerance with the biblical concept of sin and repentance. ● People are more open to discussing their brokenness and dysfunction than their sinfulness. ● Reagan Kramer agrees, noting that many people are desperate for healing and open to solutions, even if they don't understand the theological aspects. [26:11] Breaking Family Sin Patterns ● There exist patterns of sin in families that we must break. This unaddressed sin can have a devastating impact on future generations. ● Rob uses the example of Abraham's family sin pattern of favoritism and how it continued through his descendants. ● Breaking free from sinful patterns and living a holy life is a noble and honorable goal that emphasizes soul care. ● Furthermore, addressing these family sin patterns requires profound trust and honesty. The healing process will come by being open to each other. [32:01] Forgiveness and Overcoming Fear ● Forgiveness is difficult because we are afraid. Fear prevents us from accessing forgiveness. ● However, Rob emphasizes the importance of forgiving those who sin against us to allow God's healing and peace to flow in our lives. ● Rob shares his personal experience of forgiving a man who spread lies about him, demonstrating the power of obedience to Jesus' commands. ● Forgiveness and overcoming fear are essential for living a life free from anxiety and the bondage of sin. [49:42] Healing Wounds and Deliverance ● Moving forward in freedom is easier if we begin by healing wounds from the past. Unresolved anger and pain create barriers to God's healing and must be addressed. ● God’s deliverance lets us cast out demonic spirits that cause torment and bondage in our souls. ● These wounds or indwelling demons might even be the result of generational curses that went unresolved. ● Reagan Kramer shares her personal experience of hearing demonic manifestations and the importance of the Church in setting people free. Replay: Spiritual Warfare: Fighting Against Occult Bondage (Ft. Dr. George Kramer)

We’ve all been there. That situation where we just feel so outnumbered, as though the darkness is creeping in and there’s nothing we can do to stop it. Sometimes, evil seems to be winning, and we’re powerless to do anything about it. Evil is real; it is a dark, terrible force that invades our lives and attacks us from all sides. While it might be incredibly difficult to overcome evil, know that you are never alone. With the power of prayer and faith, you can stand firm in Christ and stand up to the darkness. In this episode, George Kramer, a physician at Advanced Medicine Alternatives, joins Reagan to talk about the occult and how evil manifests in our life. He shares the things that create spiritual strongholds and how you can overcome them. If you want to learn how to cast out evil in your life and walk with Christ, this episode is for you! Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: Find out what the occult means and its dangers. Learn about spiritual strongholds and how to overcome them. Discover the power of prayer and faith. He has received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic. Having practiced musculoskeletal medicine since 1985, he believes in using natural medicine to tap into our natural healing abilities. Episode Highlights [02:22] The Power of Prayer George and Reagan have been married for 18 years with four kids. Since he was a child, God and the church were already a huge part of his life, but it was only later that he learned that we’re saved by grace, not by works. He became born again and built a personal relationship with Christ. Since he’s a physician, he started praying for his patients. George: “I’m the helper, not the healer. And I’m a vehicle for God’s healing.” [11:43] Defining the Occult In medicine, “occult” means a hidden or undetected disease. Its Latin origin means “to hide from view, cover up, or conceal” and there can also be some things that are hidden in us spiritually that hold us back from living fully. Many diseases have spiritual roots. Guilt and shame make us hide from God. [22:16] Creating Spiritual Strongholds A cult is a secret disclosed only to those who are initiated. In Haiti, it’s common to see manifestations of evil and voodoo practices. The occult can be coupled with different religions to make it seem more acceptable. Haiti and other countries that aren’t blinded by media and materialism accept these manifestations of demons and turn to God to cast them out. George: “In Haiti and a lot of these other countries where they’re not distracted by all the things we’re distracted by, they see the manifestations. And then they accept that they’re there and not blinded by media and by materialism, and they have to rely on God to cast out demons of illness because they don’t have any doctors anyway.” [29:17] What Makes Us Walk in Darkness Dabbling in the occult can lead us down an occult road and stray from the Lord’s path. Pray, repent, and ask God to shut the door to any demonic presence in your life that might have entered through the occult. Bind the strongholds in your life and walk in Christ’s freedom. Spend time with God. [37:25] Overcoming Strongholds Receive Christ in your life because He has the power to cast out evil. Speak out loud that Jesus is Lord. George: “Because the evil spirits, the non God beings can’t read your mind. You have to say it out loud. And then they know you are God’s child and they don’t have power over you.” Have faith in God Reagan: “No matter what darkness you feel you may be in, Jesus can overcome it. And the light will always overcome the darkness because Jesus has won the war against the enemy. It is finished and we all stand in victory right now as believers in Christ.”

Replay: God's Revelation at Waffle House (Ft. Bryce Crawford)

If you are worried about what people think about you, if you are feeling stale in your faith or if you don't believe God still does miracles, listen to this incredible episode with my guest Bryce Crawford. Bryce had a transformative encounter at a Waffle House where Jesus met him in ways totally unexpected. This revelation of Jesus led Bryce to dive deeper into his faith and start sharing Jesus with people on the streets of L.A., all over social media where over a million people follow him and all over the world! Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: Understand the importance of inviting Jesus into every aspect of your life, however mundane or insignificant it may seem. Discover the power of experiencing Jesus for oneself, rather than just knowing about Him theoretically or through other people's stories. Learn about the danger of relying on external sources for validation or satisfaction, rather than seeking fulfillment through a personal relationship with God. Resources More from the Revelations Podcast: Website | Instagram | Apple Podcast Connect with Bryce Crawford: Instagram | Tiktok | Snapchat Pulse Movement Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem Bible Verses Psalm 91-107 James 5:17 Psalm 139 Luke 24 1 Corinthians 13:5 This Episode is brought to you by Advanced Medicine Alternatives Get back to the active life you love through natural & regenerative musculoskeletal healing: https://www.georgekramermd.com/ Episode Highlights [4:41] Why did Bryce choose to become a Christian? Bryce's decision to become a Christian was the result of a personal journey and realization that the things he was trying to fill the hole in his heart with could not provide him with the peace, joy, and fulfillment that he was seeking. He rejected other religions that require working for salvation because he saw that he couldn't even fill the hole in his heart without help. Bryce's family saw him as the Christian member of the family, but he didn't fully embrace Christianity until a later age when he had his own personal revelation and encounter with Jesus. This made him realize that only through a relationship with Jesus can he receive salvation, renewal, and a sense of purpose. [11:25] God’s Revelation at Waffle House A man at Waffle House who Bryce shared a meal, confided in him about his divorce. The man loves his wife but feels like she doesn't love him back As the man poured out his heart, Bryce felt a revelation from God that he had been treating Him similarly to the man's relationship with his wife. Bryce had been neglecting his relationship with God and failing to notice the little things He did in his life. Bryce was deeply moved by the man's words and realized that he too needed to invite God into every aspect of his life and totally surrender to him. Listened to the full episode to be inspired by Bryce’s revelation. [12:34] "There's no growth in a relationship if the love isn't mutual." — Bryce Crawford [15:14] How God reveals himself to Gen Z People Younger people are getting involved in negative things earlier, which may cause them to seek God sooner out of desperation. Bryce believes that sharing meaty biblical teachings with simplified explanations can help reach younger people on social media. Listen to the full episode to learn more about the stories of young people encountering Jesus and how their lives are changing. God can reveal Himself to the Gen Z population through personal experiences and encounters with God. [21:32] "I believe that every morning when I wake up, as my eyes are opening, Jesus is at the end of my bed. Uh oh, he's waking up. He's waking up. And then I get up, and he's like, yes, he's woken up. Bryce, you're awake? I can't wait to spend this day with you." — Bryce Crawford [25:15] How to break down scripture in a simplified way Start with the context: Before diving into a specific passage or verse, it's important to provide some context about the book or chapter it's from. This can help the listener understand the overall message or theme. Use real-life examples: Try to illustrate the lesson or teaching with an example from everyday life. This can help make the message relatable and applicable. Keep it concise: Avoid getting too deep into theological discussions or complex language. Stick to the key points and keep it short and simple. Bring it back to Jesus: Always remember to tie the message back to Jesus and the Gospel. Help the listener understand how the specific passage or teaching relates to their relationship with God. [26:59] "I don't have to prove myself to anyone. I can just be myself. People are going to understand me for me."  — Bryce Crawford [44:50] Love Keeps No Record of Wrong When we love someone, we don't hold their past mistakes against them. Instead, we forgive them and give them a fresh start. This applies not only to our relationships with other people, but also to our relationship with God. Bryce explained that sometimes we hold onto past mistakes and allow them to define us, leading to feelings of shame and guilt. However, when we understand that love keeps no record of wrong, we can let go of those negative feelings and learn to see ourselves and others through the eyes of love. It’s also important to extend this same grace and forgiveness to others, even when we feel wronged or hurt by them. Through love, we can find healing and restoration in our relationships, both with others and with God. Overall, the idea of love keeping no record of wrong is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of love and forgiveness. By embracing this concept in our lives, we can free ourselves and others from the burden of past mistakes and move towards a future full of hope and joy. [57:02] "If I can hit my knees and pray for my friend or my loved one before I approach them, what can I do? If you're going to see them on a daily basis, love them. Love the snot out of them." — Bryce Crawford [58:53] How should you approach the Lord? Approaching the Lord should be done with intentionality and an open heart. It's important to prioritize intimacy with Jesus by spending time daily in prayer and reading the Bible. When approaching the Lord, it's important to be honest, vulnerable, and willing to listen to His voice. Inviting Jesus into every aspect of your life and seeking His guidance in decision-making can also deepen your relationship with Him. Remember that Jesus is always waiting for you with open arms, excited to spend time with you. So approach Him with confidence, knowing that He wants to be a part of your life.
