Buying the Lie That We Should Be Selfish

Buying the Lie That We Should Be Selfish

Megan Fate Marshman joins Robert to talk about following Jesus. The truth is, we often still chase after worldly goals even with Jesus in our lives. Sin tells us that everything should revolve around us, and it's easy to form our "images" around self-fulfillment. But God tells us that the path to true fulfillment is simple: Love Him, and love our neighbors as ourselves. The more we focus on what we can do for others, the more we want to reflect that focus in our communication. If we want to look more like Jesus, the key is to listen more and follow up with actions.

How do we receive the Holy Spirit?

How do we receive the Holy Spirit?

Pastor Chad Moore and guest Justin Martz discuss the importance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Who is the Holy Spirit? And how can we better understand the "network" of God? When we accept Jesus into our hearts, we also invite the Holy Spirit to move in us. The world offers so many things that can control us, but the Bible tells us to fill ourselves with the power of the Spirit.

    What is my identity?

    What is my identity?

What does it mean to call God "Father?" It's not just about the title; it's about our calling to join the family of God. We all have a longing to belong, and the world offers all kinds of places to look for identity. But we can’t find fulfillment until we accept how much God loves us for who we are. When we trust in our identity as children of God, then we can submit our behavior to Him and have peace in His grace.

You Were Created for So Much More

You Were Created for So Much More

What is the "Trinity," and what does it tell us about God? The mysteries of God's essence lead us to one simple truth: He is relational. God's will for everything requires giving and receiving. When we look at creation, we can see that our purpose does not revolve around ourselves. We are a result of God's unfathomable love, and we are made to reflect His image as we share this life with each other.

Leading Our Kids to Walk with Jesus

Leading Our Kids to Walk with Jesus

Robert and Lindsay Watson discuss their journey as parents and the lessons they've learned along the way. To teach children the power of faith and prayer, it's not just about sharing the concepts. Tangible and relevant tools instill understanding at every stage in young lives. Through God's wisdom and the support of others, parents can lead their children to learn what it means to connect with God. Whether we are parents or not, none of us are perfect. What makes the difference is how we take accountability and intentionally live to follow Jesus.

Hearing God and trusting God are very different things. | w/ Megan Fate Marshman

Hearing God and trusting God are very different things. | w/ Megan Fate Marshman

Guest speaker Megan Fate Marshman joins Pastor Chad to talk about what it really means to trust God. Even when we hear God, we often think we walk alone, but we don't need to. God promises to be there, no matter where we are or what we're going through. We grow through our pain when we open our lives to trust Him. He prepares us for the future and leads us through the trials we don’t see coming. God uses the good and the bad, and in it all, our greatest strength is when we call out to Him.
