    When the Way Is Unclear

    Imagine sitting in a small, dimly lit room, your heart pounding as you wait for something painful that may or may not happen—a shock, literally. The uncertainty of not knowing when, or even if, it will strike hangs over you like a storm cloud. Then, you’re presented with a choice: wait it out or press the button and shock yourself right now to end the waiting. What would you do? Surprisingly, a study from the University of Virginia found that many people chose to endure the pain immediately rather than face the discomfort of uncertainty. This fascinating insight gives us a glimpse into how we handle the unknown—and how much we fear it.   What if we could embrace the unknown as a space where we slow down, notice God, and trust the process, rather than rushing into action?
